Mission Statement
At the Carpenter's House we are committed to these guiding principles:

Experience God

Encourage Believers

Empower Disciples

Embrace Community

Let us show you how we do that.

Experience God

Everything we do is to recognize God and His great Love for us. In our services we make a place for God to move in our hearts; to challenge and comfort us with His Word, and to respond to Him In Worship and Praise.

Encourage Believers

Our motto, "Loving God, Loving Others" is simply how we want to be known in our community. One way of accomplishing this is through events that promote fellowship in our community. What better way than through food! Church events are a big part of being in our church family. Whether it is a Baptismal BBQ, or a Family Fun Fest with water slides, we enjoy getting together and being the family of God.

Empower Disciples

Sunday morning service with scripturally based teaching will move you forward in your relationship with God. It's not only inspirational, and motivational, but it's practical; all in a family friendly, non-threatening setting. If you love Sunday morning service, then you're going to love Wednesday evening Bible Study! This is a much smaller venue, where we dig into the nuts and bolts of faith. Open discussion is encouraged, and multiple classes are available on a rotating basis that cover areas such as Recovery, Grief, Finances and Adult Bible Study.

Embrace Community

Embracing the community we live in is vital to the building of a strong unified community. Our active involvement in community events such as Love Modesto further demonstrate our love and involvement with the community we serve. Compassion Ministries, held every Saturday at our church, provide food and clothing for hundreds of families in our community.
